water bottle holder

 

This is an adjustable water bottle holder made from chrome tan leather. It has stainless steel eyelets and leather thread. I think the colors worked together nicely. The reason I made this is so that I don't have to keep reaching behind my back for a water bottle. It now fits on my belt, and I can get to it easier.

When I was making this, the eyelets kept folding over themselves, I don’t know why. If anyone has ideas, please leave them in the comments. The nice thing about it being adjustable is that it will hold any water bottle.

This is a card holder I made using my patterns from last week. I used some oil tan leather along with a brass snap to hold it closed because the colors go well together. I stitched it together using brown thread that matches my leather nicely. 

 

The things I messed up on were my hole punching, for whatever reason, the needles pushed leather to the outside of the holes. I need to do a bit more trim work because the sides don't match up perfectly. The inside piece was a bit too tall for it to close properly, so I need to make sure that it isn't that tall.
