This is a set of gauntlets I made. They are made out of leather that I dyed black, silver eyelets, and black leather thread. I measured the diameter of my arm with a piece of paper, cut it to the right dimensions, and then laid that form on the leather to cut it out. After I cut it out, I then punched holes in it, and proceeded to dye it. After that, I set in the silver eyelets and ran the laces through them.
I made six Christmas ornaments for my family. I did lots of stamping to give them cool styles. The way you stamp leather, is you wet down the leather, and then while it is still wet you stamp it. Then it leaves an imprint in the leather of whatever was on the stamp. You then let it dry, and the imprint will stay in the leather permanently.
