The completed satchel turned out great. It has plenty of space for storage, is comfortable, and looks really nice.
The stitching process took a lot longer than expected because the punch used was too small so I had to go through every hole and widen it with an awl before I could stitch the sides up. I used the saddle stitch because it is very durable and looks really nice.
I used rivets to hold the billets (the piece of leather that holds the d ring in place) to the gusset (the large piece of leather that makes up the side). I used these because they were part of the kit.
