leather sheath

This is a sheath I was using chrome tan leather for. You first soak the leather in water for about fifteen minutes. Then you place it on a piece of wood with the knife underneath the leather. You then staple the leather down. For about twelve hours you periodically press the leather down around the knife to get it into a tight fit. Next you cut off the excess leather.

I used two rivets to create the belt loop so I could carry it around outside of my pocket.

I then cut out a second piece of leather the size of the first piece. I then marked, put in the holes, and sewed it together.

The fished product turned out quite well. I really loved it and think it looks super nice.
